InSpec 1.0 Release Party at Chef Meetup Berlin.

Now that slowly everyone is getting back from their vacations, our calendars are filling up again. And here is another date you shouldn’t miss: The InSpec 1.0 release party at the next Chef Meetup Berlin at Endocode HQ on the 27th of September.

Chef will officially launch InSpec 1.0 on the 26th of September, and this meetup will celebrate the release with some live demos and real-life implementation examples. InSpec is an open-source testing framework for infrastructure with a human- and machine-readable language for specifying compliance, security and policy requirements. You can read more here.

About the speakers:

Christoph Hartmann, Engineering Lead for Compliance at Chef

Christoph is a lead engineer at Chef, and founder who spent the last decade building complex software and infrastructure systems. He was responsible for automation at the innovation laboratory at Deutsche Telekom and created effective solutions managing the future of their core networks. He is the co-founder of InSpec, Chef Compliance, and the project.

Patrick Münch, IT Security Consultant at SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH

Patrick knows Security inside out. He is incredibly skilled at both protecting and hacking every system he gets his hands on. He is responsible for the security of many mission-critical IT systems and knows countless critical vulnerabilities. He also co-founded project.
